The cstdio #include is part of the C++ Standard Library. It is the C++ version of the C Standard Library stdio.h include.

It is responsible for making sure that the following symbols are declared within the std namespace:cl

       fgetc, fgetpos, fgets, fopen, fprintf,
       fputc, fputs, fread, freopen, fscanf,
       fseek, fsetpos, fte, fwrite, getc,

       putchar, puts, remove, rename, rewind,
       scanf, setful, setvbuf, sprintf, sscanf
       tmpfile, tmpname, ungetc, vfprintf, vprintf
       vsprintf

Note that cstdio is usually implemented by #including stdio.h' then importing these symbols into the std namespace via using declarations, rather than duplicating the declarations in both headers. This means that the symbols, along with any others stdio.h declares, will appear in the global namespace in addition to std.
